In my previous life, I was a dancer. I was a great dance teacher and a very good dancer, if I do say so myself.
In my dreams, Fa will take over in the arena of dance and I will live vicariously through her. (healthy, I know)
So I have started her early. (Miss Sharon would be proud!)
She is now well versed in many ballet postions and tap moves.
Ask her and she'll place her body into quite a few forms and "graceful" movements:
-plie
-releve
-arabesque
-tendu
-pirouhette (twirl on one leg)
-chasee (galloping)
-passe
-fairy runs (running with her hands behind her back, like a fairy would)
-echape (jumping with her legs in and out)
-shuffle and shuffle step (tapping)
This is just the beginning. I can't wait for her to be in therapy because I forced her into a life she never wanted. That should be fun...But in the meantime, I'll indulge in my dreams of having a prima ballerina as a daughter.
*End note: Fa could grow up to be anything she dreams. I'll love her unconditionally forever. But damn it is she cute when she shows off her moves!
