Mommies NEED Makeup

As Fa was sitting on the potty….”practicing” (she hasn’t pipeed yet) she was watching me apply my daily dose of makeup.

F: Mommy watchya doin’?

TL: Putting on my makeup.

F: Why?

TL: Because it’s time to get ready to go out.

F: Can I wear makeup?

TL: You don’t need makeup. You’re beautiful just the way you are.

F: You need makeup?

TL: Uh, Yeah. I don’t wanna scare the people in the street.

F: (Giggling & Singing in her loudest voice)…”Mommy putting on her makeup…because she’s scary”

TL: You don’t hafta agree lady!

Remember those days when you wished you could wear makeup, but you weren’t allowed. Now I shouldn’t be allowed to leave the house without it. How does that happen?
