Well, Mother's day was extremely stressful at times, but it turned out really nice in the end.
I am so tired today, I can't even go to school with The Girl.
We are gonna be lazy and run some errands.
I got two wonderful gift certificates to my favorite shops in town from The Girl and The Provider yesterday. I am quite surprised and exited to spend them.
We ended the day with dinner at Shun Lee with my family and I wound up laughing and having a really great time. We got there an hour and a half late due to an impromptu Girl-nap and they had to wait for us to eat dinner, but it turned out to be a fantastic time! Laughter was the theme of the night. And since the Girl napped, she was bright-eyed, bushy-tailed and raring to go!
I ate so much, I decided to leave you with my favorite commercial to let you know how I feel.
Hope you all had the day of your dreams.
I have one more score in my Hat Trick and my summer can officially begin without sadness...
On with it already!

Happy belated Mother's Day!!!!!!!
"Badonkadonk Butt"...that's hilarious!
Glad you had a good time yesterday. Enjoy your shopping!
I love that commercial too!
Glad you had lots of laughter! You totally deserve that. Enjoy the shopping! Gift cards rule.
Glad you had a good day. Happy Mothers day!!!
I LOVE this commercial, too! And believe me, the thunderthighs are OVER HERE!
xoxo
hehe that commercial is too funny!
I am glad you spent the day laughing! You deserve it!
Hey, I thought a lot about you yesterday. I wanted to write and tell you so, but we were with Will's Mom.
I know that your Mom was with you, Janet...I just know it.
And I was with you too...
p.s. I love that commercial too, as do my folks. When they call and leave a message, they re-enact that commercial but say, "donkey-donk butt".
I don't have the heart to correct them. I now prefer "donkey-donk".
I just went back and read that post. I so understand. Every month when I feel the 20th start to creep up on us I start to get panicky. I am so exhausted by the time that day comes and goes. The one year anniversary of losing my father is coming in June and I am already in daily tears about it, though I cry everyday for him already. If you find a cure for this let me know.
So glad you had a great Mother's Day.

Glad your Mother's Day turned out wonderfully.
Not only do I think that commericial is funny but the twins heard it too unbeknownst to me until I heard them in the backseat on the way home one day saying "can I please get a badonka donk butt" and collapsing in to fits of laughter!
I laughed along with them until I realized that -oops probably shouldn't have my four year olds telling people they have badonka donk butts- cuz that exactly what they'd do next :)
The thunder thighs hit a LITTLE too close to home...thank you VERY MUCH! :)
Glad you had a nice day!
I'm all for the sadness free summer!
Sounds like a banner day! I would have LOOOOOVED the gift certificates but breakfast in bed and a backrub weren't bad, either. Hail to EVERY day being Mother's Day....
Mother's Day is the perfect day to eat too much. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was the day of my dreams....Ryan and I usually can't go through one day withought arguing with each other....you would think Mother's Day would have been an exception...but I guess you can't change something after years of marriage lol. Glad things turned out well in the end.
You were on my mind yesterday, lady. Glad your Mother's Day turned out so well.
you'll never guess what I got on mother's day...you'll just have to read the post to find out. Glad you had a nice day too!
I LOVE that commercial! Glad you had a great Mother's Day :)
Ummm yeah, I have had one too many badonkadonk butt helpings. My badonkadonk butt is about to take over my thunder thighs. :)
It pains me to hear the ache in voices, like yours, of women unable to share mother's day with their own mothers. I'm sorry.
Glad to hear you had a lovely day.
I've never seen that commercial!! Still laughing!
